Continued attacks against south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Monday shelled Kafra town in the occupied part of south Lebanon with heavy artillery. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery also targeted the heights of al-Qatrani, al-Dallfah and al-Daher mountains in the western Bekaa.

Meanwhile, the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army carried out mopping up operations on the area situated at Zamraya crossing in the western Bekaa.

The Israeli forces also continued attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery bombarded several areas in the central sector of south Lebanon. The bombardment targeted the western outskirts of Yater town, and al-Rahrah, Mureimein and Serbin valley areas.

The Israeli bombardment also covered Jib Sweid, Kafra and Haris areas. Several shells fell near houses in the said areas.
