Iraq denies criticizing claimed Syrian - British maneuvers
In its recent issue, the Jordanian daily al-Majd said that the Iraqi ambassador to Jordan, Nouri Louis, stressed that the Iraqi embassy in Amman and the Iraqi government in Baghdad had no connection with the political statement released two weeks earlier by the Jordanian Baath party organization.

Ruler of Qatar to visit Algeria
Ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani tomorrow will pay a two-day official visit to Algeria. A spokesman for the Algerian Foreign Ministry said today that the visit of Qatar's emir is in reply to the visit made several months earlier by the Algerian President to Qatar.
