International Song Festival due in August in Egypt

Egyptian Tourism Minister Mamdouh Al-Beltaji said Wednesday that Cairo's fourth International Song Festival will be held on August 20-28 with the participation of Arab and non-Arab countries.
Al-Beltaji told journalists that 10 Arab countries had presented 95 works and 18 non-Arab countries were participating in the contest, staging 48 performances.
The Minister said a number of eminent Arab singers, including Talal Al-Maddah, will be honored during the event.
Egypt is currently hosting a tourism and shopping festival aimed at attracting tourists.
