Moussa meets with al-Sahaf in Casablanca
Egypt-Iraq, Politics, 7/30/1998
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met yesterday with Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed Said al-Sahaf in Casablanca where the two discussed coordinating the two states' position toward the developments in the Middle East peace process stalemate and the situation in Gulf.
After the meeting, al-Sahaf said that he exchanged with his Egyptian counterpart viewpoints concerning Arab and international issues.
Concerning his country's attitude toward the peace process, he said that Iraq believes that Israel does nothing for peace, but seizes lands, persecutes the Palestinian people and confiscates their territories.
He added that Iraq is putting all its resources beside its Moslems and Arab neighbors to come out with a united position against the Israeli provocations.
