Muscat trade fair to start in September

The 5th Autumn Trade Fair, organized by Oman International Exhibition Center from September 28 to October 4, 1998, will showcase a wide range of consumer goods, notably furniture, foodstuffs, garments, electric goods, home appliances, chandeliers, carpets, handicrafts, cosmetics and jewelry.
For the first time, the fair will also target children, according to OITE managing director Ali Habaj. A special "Magic Kingdom" offering fun and games for children, will be created alongside the exhibition.
The fourth AFT attracted thousands of shoppers and businessmen, said an OITE press release. Companies from Syria, Jordan, Egypt, India, Iran, Pakistan, Srilanka, Turkey, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA and China besides the GCC states, took part in the fair.
