Marhag: Lebanon will benefit from opening of Syrian/Iraqi pipeline

Lebanese minister of administrative reform Beshara Mahrag said the reopening of the Syrian /Iraqi petroleum line to be continued in Lebanon and activation of the refinery in Tripoli will bring several benefits to Lebanon, foremost reducing the petroleum bill that Lebanon pays, currently valued at $600 million.
Mahrag confirmed Lebanon's decisive opposition to settling the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, then he called for Palestinian - Lebanese talks to review some pending matters addressing the right of transportation and travel, in addition to social and work rights.
