Committee forming in Moslem Brotherhood group to solve disputes
Egypt, Politics, 7/29/1998

Sources in the prohibited Moslem Brotherhood group in Egypt revealed that the bureau that facilitates the group's affairs formed a committee under the name "the arbitration and dispute-solving committee," and that its members will be entitled to examine the complaints of the group's members as well as solve disputes before they grow and reach the media.

The sources told ArabicNews.com that, "The last development happened when disputes increased among the group's members and leaders who control the guiding bureau."

The sources stated that in its decision, the Moslem Brotherhood said that talking in newspapers about the group's internal affairs and disputes threaten the future of the group and gives the government the chance to increase efforts to "weaken the group's activities and minimize its role in political work."
