Lebanese citizen wounded, South Lebanon Army soldier killed in fighting

News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday bombarded the eastern and western sectors of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said that Israeli heavy artillery positioned on Tair Harfa and Yaren shelled the western sector whereas the eastern sector was shelled from al-Ahmadoyah position.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese national resistance announced that one of its groups attacked the Israeli position in al-Hardoon at 5 p.m on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the resistance reported in a statement issued by one of its groups that the Israeli position in Barachit was attacked.
Israeli occupation forces wounded Lebanese citizen Ali Hassan Hadi of Barachit in the shoulder in Tuesday's fighting. News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli 15mm heavy artillery and machine-guns targeted the outskirts of Barachit, Hadatha, Haris and Eita al-Jabal towns. In retaliation, Lebanese resistance forces detonated an explosive charge against an Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army foot patrol on the old Beit Yahoun road.
In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said the explosion caused members of the enemy patrol to be wounded. Israeli and SLA militia troops were seen evacuating their casualties. Another resistance group attacked simultaneously with rockets, scoring direct hits.
On Monday night, the Lebanese resistance attacked movements inside enemy held positions in Sujoud. Lebanese security sources said that a SLA soldier was killed on Tuesday in an attack launched by the Lebanese resistance against a joint SLA - Israeli position in the occupied part of south Lebanon. The Israeli military spokesman acknowledged the death of the SLA soldier.
