King Hussein undergoes chemotherapy

A high-ranking Jordanian official stressed today that King Hussein of Jordan has undergone chemotherapy against Lymphomas and that his body responded to the first stage of the treatment.
In statements to reporters today, the Jordanian source said that doctors at the US Mayo clinic had diagnosed the presence of cancerous cells in the Lymphomas, adding that these cells are sparse and in an early stage and curable. In similar press statements, the Jordanian crown prince did not rule out that the King would leave the hospital for several days before returning to resume treatment.
