Three nuns killed in Yemen

A source in the Yemeni police said today that three Indian Christian nuns were killed by the bullets of a person suspected of being mentally unbalanced. A Police official in al-Hudeidah city, 370 km to the West of the capital, Sanaa was quoted as saying the nuns were killed in Dar al-Shafa hospital in the city where they worked as volunteers.
The source added that preliminary investigations of the criminal suggest he is mentally unbalanced and that he used a pistol to kill the three nuns at their workplace. He added that the criminal was previously held at the hospital for treatment, and he killed the nuns for revenge.
