Morocco's Boulami Ranks Second in 3,000 meters at U.S. Edwardsville meeting

Moroccan Khalid Boulami ranked second in the 3,000 meter race at the Edwardsville meeting.
Boulami clocked 7:49.79 behind Kenyan Julius Gitahi, who timed 7:48.88. Another Kenyan, John Kosegi, came in third with 7:50.39.
In Portugal, Moroccan Naiko Khemraz won the high jump at the Funchal meeting of the Madeira Island at 2.24 m.
