Britain promotes investment in Egypt
Egypt-UK, Economics, 7/27/1998

The Egyptian Businessmen's Council said that a delegation of British businessmen representing 100 British companies working in various commercial and economic fields will visit Cairo during November.

The sources added that the delegation's visit comes within a British campaign to promote Egypt as an investment market among British companies and investors.

The campaign is considered an extension of the continuous meetings between Egyptian and British businessmen, the last of which were the meetings of the British - Egyptian round table, which were held in Cairo during last June. At that meeting the British said that Egypt is the second country in Middle East and Mediterranean Sea area for attracting investment, adding that Britain has the second-most investment in Egypt after the U.S.A.
