New commander for US Fifth Fleet

Admiral Charles Moore was appointed as a new commander for the US Fifth Fleet. AFP quoted the fleet's central command, which takes Bahrain as its headquarters, as saying in a statement released on Sunday that Moore will replace Admiral Thomas Fargo following two years of service.
Moore will assume his new post of office as of today.
