Ten gunmen killed in Algeria

Algerian security forces killed ten gunmen during a mopping-up operation carried out in al-Masela province during the two past days.
The Algerian daily al-Watan said today that four gunmen opened fire on Monday on a Cafe in al-Shalaf province. No casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, some 43 citizens were wounded, including seven members of the national civil defense group, following a gas cylinder explosion in a market in Qalma province. No news was reported on the reasons for the explosion, which inflicted huge material losses.
Meanwhile, the Algerian daily al-Aseel said that the army forces will continue vast mopping-up operations in al-Ghareb and al-Kebayle provinces to chase the armed groups, using machines guns and helicopters.
