Regency Park hotel opened in Damascene resort

Syria's tourism minister on Monday opened Regency Park Hotel at al-Jerjaniya district on the road to the famous resort of Bloudan. The minister was acting on behalf of Syrian Premier to inaugurate the five-star hotel.
The project's owner, Riad Kahala, said the project aims at promoting the tourism industry in Syria. He called on Arab investors to take part in the establishment of tourism projects in Syria, a country which is full of attractions in the Middle East region, he added. The hotel comprises 44 suites, nine pavilions, four flats and two restaurants. The first restaurant seats 550 persons and the second seats 200 persons. Other facilities were also provided.
