Kuwaiti crown prince to visit Iran

Official media sources said on Wednesday that Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah will visit Tehran soon with the objective of strengthening relations between the two countries.
The sources added that the Kuwaiti ambassador in Tehran, Abdul Aziz al-Doureikh, who met with the former Iranian President Ali Akbar Rafsanjani on the occasion of ending his term of office to Iran, announced the visit. He did not set a date for it.
Rafsanjani was quoted as saying in statements to reporters that Iran pays special significance to its relations with the Gulf countries for boosting peace and security in the region.
