Five Yemenis sentenced to imprisonment for involvement in explosions

A court in Aden in southern Yemen on Wednesday sentenced five Yemenis to jail after being convicted of being involved in a series of explosions in Yemen. They received sentences of between one and 12 years.
A Yemeni source said that Seira elementary court in downtown Aden convicted the five persons, who were among a six-member group tried on charges of "carrying out explosions acts and having explosives they brought from outside the country in order to undermine public security." The court found the sixth person not guilty.
