Al-Talhi: Libyan-French relations will be improving

Libyan Minister of Planning Jadullah Azouz al-Talhi on Wednesday said that Libyan-French relations will be improving. Al-Talhi is the first Libyan minister to visit France in eight years. Following a meeting with his French counterpart, Hubert Vedrine, the Libyan minister said "our relations have recently witnesses a positive growth."
Al-Talhi added that their relations are called upon to improve so as to meet the aspirations of the two sides. Meantime, spokesman for the French Foreign ministry Yves Doutriaux said the two sides reviewed during the meeting "what can be achieved on the bilateral level within the current understanding of the UN Security Council resolutions" targeting Libya.
