Egypt's ambassador in Israel: peace process deadlock negatively affects bilateral relations

Mohammed Bassiouni, Egypt's ambassador in Israel, in a statement published by al-Ahram Hebdo newspaper today, said the stalemate in the peace process negatively affects bilateral relations between the two countries.
He said that progress on the different peace process tracks -- Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese -- would help push forward relations with Israel.
