Lebanese prisoner finsihed his term eight years ago but is still in prison

Israel is still holding a Lebanese prisoner though his prison term was over some eight years ago. Yousef Yacob Mohammed Surour of south Lebanon is one of a number of Lebanese prisoners who was arrested by Israel more than ten years ago and sentenced to various prison terms.
But Israel has so far refused to release them, and their detention does not only contradict the Israeli law itself but is also a blatant violation of international laws. A number of Arab members of Knesset in Israel have called on the government to release those prisoners because there were neither security pretexts nor human considerations that would allow their continued imprisonment.
