Israeli troops arrest Syrian citizen in Majdal Shams

Israeli forces arrested Syrian Golan Heights citizen Hayel Ahmad Abu Saleh (60) from Majdal Shams village. News reports said that the Israeli forces are detaining Abu Saleh, who suffer diabetes, without any reason and regardless of his bad health condition.
Meanwhile, Israeli sources said on Monday that a special ministerial committee was set up to discuss expanding Israeli settlements in the southern part of the occupied Golan. Israeli radio said the head of the committee is Ariel Sharon. This step, however, comes at a time when the peace process is deadlocked and where Arab leaders see Netanyahu's policy as provocative.
