Mubarak: Peace alternatives are dangerous

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has asserted the need to salvage the Middle East peace process. He added, "Otherwise, alternatives will be very dangerous and of grave impact on the region."
In a statement, following a meeting between President Mubarak with the Egyptian military leadership on the occasion of graduating new defense faculty cadets, Egyptian Information Minister Safwat al-Sharif said that President Mubarak talked about the stumbled ME peace process. The Egyptian President also discussed alternatives proposed under the current bottleneck the peace process is undergoing.
