Hariri confers with Egyptian ambassador

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri today in Beirut discussed with the Egyptian ambassador in Beirut, Adel al-Khudari developments in the region, Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa to Washington and setting a date for convening the meeting of the Lebanese-Egyptian joint higher committee due to be held next month in Cairo.
Meantime, Lebanese Foreign Minister Fares Boueiz today met in Beirut with chairman of the PLO political department Farouk al-Qaddoumi. Middle East peace process developments and other issues of mutual concern were reviewed during the meeting.
