Mediterranean conference on tourism and environment held in Tunisia

A Mediterranean conference on tourism and environment was held over the weekend in the Tunisian city of Hammamet under the topic "What environment for a lasting tourism in the Mediterranean?" Map reported.
Some 110 tourism and environment experts and journalists from Algeria, Croatia, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey took part in the meeting. They traded viewpoints on the efforts made by Mediterranean countries to protect the environment and promote tourism.
