Some 14 gunmen killed in Algeria

Algerian security forces killed 13 guerrillas in Steif province to the East of the capital Algiers. This was in attacks against the armed group's positions in Bu Taleb mountains.
Algerian media said yesterday that in Djelfa province 275 km south of Algiers, Algerian security forces killed one gunman. He was within a group which tried to get into Ein Afqa town. The group is suspected to have been behind several massacres committed recently in the area.
