King Hassan pardons 1,060 prisoners

An official source in Rabat has said that King Hassan II of Morocco has pardoned 1,060 Moroccan prisoners. The pardoning decision was taken on the occasion of the King's 69th birth anniversary, which Morocco will celebrate tomorrow.
The Moroccan source added that half of the pardoned prisoners will be released immediately. King Hassan II usually pardons prisoners on religious and national occasions.
