Mubarak stresses commitment to Arab rights
Egypt-Regional, Politics, 7/8/1998

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has stressed Egypt's commitment to Arab rights and the restoration of all occupied Arab territories, incuding the Golan Heights and south Lebanon, as well as the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital.

During his meeting on Tuesday with leaders of the Egyptian armed forces, President Mubarak asserted that just and comprehensive peace is not attainable without the implementation of United Nations resolutions that restore Arab rights.

President Mubarak warned against the dangerous consequences of Israeli government practices and held Israel fully responsible for the deadlock in the Middle East peace process on various tracks.
