Qatari emir to visit Algeria

Sources said that Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani will meet during an August visit to Algeria with Algerian President Liamine Zeroual and high-ranking officials, with whom he will discuss the latest developments in Arab relations and the peace process.
The sources also said that Qatari Foreign Minister Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabir al-Thani will visit the United Arab Emirates soon.
UAE and Qatari officials have exchanged visits during the last moth.
The spokesman of the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Fawaz al-Atayah, said, "Qatar approves of the Arab endeavors, especially the United Arab Emirates' ones to avoid the dispute with Bahrain."
