Qatar's Minister of Communications and Transport Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser al-Thani opened the main control station for the Fiber Optic Gulf underwater telecommunications cable, Linked to Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Iran as well as other regional cables, Qatar News Agency reported.
