Djibouti to get Irani oil

Djiboutian Foreign Minister Mohamed Moussa Chehem yesterday in Iran signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade, commercial and industrial areas with Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi.
The two sides agreed to exchange political and economic delegations to become acquainted with each other's bases for bilateral cooperation. The two sides stressed the strategic location of the Horn of Africa and the need for bilateral cooperation in international and regional circles.
Djiboutian Foreign Minister Chehem described his visit to Iran as positive. He expressed hope the understanding memorandum would help in fostering relations.
Chehem underlined the importance of Djibouti's location in the Horn of Africa and the Islamic world. This location, he added is but the proper foundation to foster bilateral relations. He added that Iran will provide energy and oil to Djibouti.
