Sanaa denies renewed acts of violence

Spokesman for the Yemeni government has denied news reports on renewed acts of violence in Maareb and al-Jouf provinces. Calm prevails the whole country, he said.
The spokesman was quoted as saying that the government forces have full control over the situation. The two provinces are reported calm, he added. The spokesman accused the mass media of exaggerating incidents. He also described news on renewed acts of violence as "groundless."
