Yemeni Grouping for Reform condemns government price hikes

The Yemeni Grouping for Reform condemned yesterday government resolutions raising prices of goods and basic services, as well as condemning the violence that accompanied the protests after the price hikes were announced.
Official sources in the party's general trusteeship said that the government's resolutions raising prices within the economic reform program lead to the increase of Yemeni citizens' sufferings.
The source said the violence that accompanied the protests contradict the constitution and the law, expressing his sorrow over these events which resulted in the deaths of innocents and shaking the country's security and stability.
He urged the everyone to "stick to peaceful methods in resolving disputes."
