Israel resumes destruction of Palestinian homes

The Israeli authorities have destroyed 46 Palestinian houses in El-Zaeim and El-Aizeriah villages since the beginning of the current year.

Palestinian sources said that the Palestinian houses destroyed during the current year are double those which were destroyed last year, adding that orders have been issued yesterday with the intent to destroy in Jerusalem another 130 houses.

The sources added that Palestinians in Jerusalem are suffering from a housing crisis due to being deprived of construction licenses on their lands, a matter which lead them to construct houses without obtaining these licenses.

The source also said there are different fronts in the Israeli association that handle houses with different pretexts, they are the Ministry of Interior, the municipality and the Israeli military rulers.
