Lebanese resistance attack 18 Israeli positions, Lebanese flag flies over Hadatha
Fires were set in several olive orchards and wheat farms as well as the woods surrounding the villages of Barachit, Eita al-Jabal, Hadatha and Beit Yahoun. Meanwhile, Israeli helicopters mopped up valleys separating the occupied part of south Lebanon and the liberated villages of the central sector of south Lebanon.

A statement issued by rebel forces in southern Sudan said a wide-ranging attack by governmental forces in the Blue Nile province of southern Sudan was repulsed. The statement said major losses were inflicted on the governmental forces, which included 300 killed and more than 500 injured, and 12 troops taken captive and quantities of ammunition, supplies and weapons were seized.
