Al-Assad receives Bahraini minister of information

Syrian President Hafez al-Assad received yesterday the Bahraini Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Information Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Mutawa.
The Syrian president's spokesman, Jibran Koreyah, said that the Bahraini ambassador in Syria, Abdul Rahman Bu Ali, attended the meeting which was held in the presidential palace.
He also added that the talks discussed the issues of the stumbled peace process in the Middle East and bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mutawa participated in the information ministers' first conference, which concluded its works in Damascus on Tuesday.
