Turkey-Israel, Politics, 7/3/1998
Turkish Foreign Minister Ismael Cem will hold a four-day official visit to Israel at the invitation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aimed at developing bilateral relations, including military cooperation, Israeli radio reported.
On the third day of his visit to Israel, Cem will head to the Palestinian self-rule areas where he will discuss with Palestinian officials developments concerning Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. Cem's visit is in reply to the April 1997 official visit of then-Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy to Turkey.
