Tribesmen arrested in Yemen

The Yemeni authorities today arrested many persons involved in confrontations that took place between two rival tribes in Sanaa, during which heavy machine-guns were used.
A Yemeni police source said the confrontations took place between a group affiliated to Yemeni Transport Minister Maj. Gen. Abdul Malik al-Seyani and another group affiliated to Yemeni businessman Muhammad Ali al-Rweishan over the ownership of a property near the presidential palace.
