Kuwaiti FM confers with Jordanian minister

Kuwaiti first Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad today in Kuwait received Jordanian Minister of Planning Rima Khalaf. Talks dealt with bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.

Earlier in the day, Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah received a message from Jordan's crown prince. No information was reported on the content of the message, which was delivered by Khalaf during her meeting with Sheikh Saad.

Meanwhile, Kuwait's minister of planning and minister of state for administrative development affairs today discussed with Khalaf prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of planning and development issues.

The visit of the Jordanian minister to Kuwait falls in the course of holding talks with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, with Kuwait as a headquarters with the objectives of strengthening relations between the Arab Fund and Jordan in financing health, water, transportation and agriculture projects in Jordan.
