Two South Lebanon Army members killed in south Lebanon

Two Israeli-allied militia men were killed on Monday by an explosive charge in Jezzine area in south Lebanon, Israeli radio reported on Monday.

The Lebanese resistance detonated an explosive charge against a South Lebanon Army vehicle along Tomat Niha district in the occupied part of south Lebanon.The explosion resulted in the total destruction of the vehicle and the death or wounding of its occupants.

Later in the afternoon the Israeli jet fighters raided the Western Bekaa area. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli warplanes flew over the Western Bekaa and fired air-to-surface missiles against Ein al-Tineh town. Also attacked were Mashghara town and the outskirts of Maidoun and Ein al-Tineh towns in the Western Bekaa.

The sources added that the Israeli forces shelled al-Tuffah district heights in the south. The aggressive bombardment was accompanied by a mopping-up operation with rockets and machine guns over Qilya mount and Barghaz area.
