A message from Eritrea President to President al-Assad

Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam on Saturday received Eritrean Minister of Industry and Trade Ali Abdullah Khaddam and received a message delivered by the visiting minister from Eritrea' s President Assyas Afworki to President al-Assad.
Talks dealt with the situation in the African horn and bilateral relations. The Eritrean minister arrived in Damascus on Friday night in a visit to Syria which will last for several days. Abdullah will, during his visit, discuss economic relations with his Syrian counterpart Ahmad Nizameddine.
