Israeli troops escalate aggression against south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and its western Bekaa.

Lebanese security sources said that Israeli artillery bombarded the outskirts of al-Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and Zibqin towns, Jib Sweid, and al-Dallafah valley.

The Israeli artillery bombardment was accompanied by intensive flights of Israeli warplanes over south Lebanon, especially over the Western sector where mock provocative raids were carried out.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance on Wednesday afternoon attacked Israeli forces positioned at al-Ahmadieyh in the occupied part of south Lebanon with rockets. In a statement, the resistance said direct hits were scored.

Lebanese resistance forces also attacked al-Radar position in the occupied part of south Lebanon and said in a statement that one of its groups monitored Israeli movements near al-Radar position and then attacked it with machine-guns and rocket fire.

Eyewitnesses said that at 12.45 p.m. Wednesday an Israeli helicopter was seen landing inside al-Radar position and, after, taking off toward occupied Palestine.
