Arab Islamic Bank intends to open branches in Palestine in the next year

The international Arab Islamic Bank said that it is about open branches in Palestine during the next year to present its services to economic development operations.

The head of the banking systems in the bank, Nohad Yacoub Maraka, said the Palestinian market is considered a prominent markets to which the bank is paying attention and that the priority in presenting services will be for financing vital projects which aim at refreshing and developing the national economy.

Maraka stated that the idea of the Islamic bank is focusing on financing projects, sharing profits with depositors, and serving society through its work.

The international Arab Islamic Bank has Amman as its headquarters. The Bank's capital is 40 million dinars ($56.6 million), and is considered the third largest bank in Jordan according to its capital.
