The European Union yesterday issued a statement noting the group's concern over Israeli plans "which will alter the demographic balance in the Jerusalem area." It added that the status of Jerusalem is a subject for final status negotiations, and reiterated the EU's call for a stop to unilateral actions in Jerusalem.
