Sheikh Yassin of Hamas will return to Gaza on Wednesday

Hamas spiritual leader and founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin is due to return to Gaza on Wednesday, his son Abdul Hamid confirmed Tuesday. Abdul Hamid said his father had delayed his return to Gaza by one day in order to receive medical check-ups at Jala' military hospital in Cairo.
Hamas leading members Ismail Haniyye and Mahmoud Zahhar said Sheikh Yassin's return was delayed by 24 hours upon a request from the Egyptian authorities.
