Syrian, Lebanese delegation withdraw from Rabat meeting

A Syrian customs delegation on Monday withdrew from the meetings of the 91st and 92nd sessions of the World Customs Organization council being held in Marrakesh in protest of the presence of a participating Israeli delegation. The Lebanese customs delegation to the meeting also withdrew for the same reason.
Chairman of the Syrian delegation Lt. Gen. Adel Abdul Aal said in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Morocco that "boycotting the meetings came as an objection over Israel's participation in a meeting held in an Arab territory."
