European Union Extends Humanitarian Assistance to Palestine and Jordan

The European Union will extend a 1.5 million ecu humanitarian assistance to Palestine and Jordan. The assistance to the Palestinians will finance medical projects in the West Bank and Gaza.
The projects aims to promote medical assistance activities, immunization campaigns and hold training courses for the local staff. The assistance to Jordan (500,000 ecus) will go to the needy population, Map reported.
