President al-Assad to confer with Moratinos tomorrow

An Israeli radio political affairs correspondent said that European Union special envoy the Middle East, Miguel Angel Moratinos, will meet tomorrow in Damascus with President Hafez al-Assad and with Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa to discuss means of reactivating negotiations on the Syrian - Lebanese peace track with Israel.
Moratinos will visit Jerusalem and Gaza Strip in the course of his tour, which will also cover Beirut and Cairo.
