Arab tourism ministers conference coming at the end of the current month

Arab ministers of tourism will convene in Damascus, Syria for four days beginning on June 27 to discuss methods of developing Arab tourism and quality measures.
Danhu Dawud, the Syrian minister of tourism, said that the conference of the Arab tourism ministers will also discuss encouraging the private sector's role in tourist activity, adding that there are serious endeavors underway to establish a marketing company for Arab tourism with branches all over the Arab states to market tourism programs internally and externally.
He also said that Syria will present a report to the conference that will include methods of overcoming obstacles to Arab tourism, like requirements for entry, residency, and integral programs in tourism marketing.
