Palestinian majorities support Arafat's continuation as a president

An opinion poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Studies and Research in Gaza showed continuation of support from most Palestinians for Yasser Arafat to continue as Palestinian president. The poll found that this support comes in despite the fact that 65% of the Palestinians are convinced of the involvement of many members of the Palestinian government and legislative council in corruption.
