Jordan's crown prince: Eritrea, Ethiopia need to come to peaceful solution

Crown Prince Hassan of Jordan stressed the need for a peaceful solution for Eretrean - Ethiopian conflict. He voiced Jordan's support for the initiative by the recent African summit in Burkina Faso for a peaceful solution to the conflict.

Crown Prince Hassan said that his country is ready to work with Egypt to help settle the conflict.

Jordan's Crown Prince's remarks came during his meeting with the Eritrean industry and trade minister, who carried a message from his president to the king of Jordan.

The envoy briefed Jordan's crown prince on the latest developments in the conflict, affirming his country's readiness to end its military operations and settle the dispute through peaceful means.

Crown Prince Hassan called on Eritrea to maintain good relations with Arab states on the bases of mutual respect and noninterference in internal affairs.
